All About Me
Ruth Tyson-Rogers has been a member of The Harlem FUND for 7 years and is also a dedicated Director of Administration with over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. Passionate about community development and youth empowerment, she has dedicated her career to creating positive change in the lives of those she serves. Ruth believes in the transformative power of social services and works tirelessly to ensure that resources and support are accessible to all.
Throughout her career, Ruth has successfully managed various administrative functions, including strategic planning, program development, and team leadership, all while fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and growth. She is deeply committed to uplifting the voices of the community, advocating for the needs of youth, and developing programs that promote education, health, and well-being.
In addition to her professional achievements, Ruth has worked closely with DHS, Promesa, Acacia (MICA Men’s Shelter) and Praxis Housing Initiative (Family Shelter) to name a few.

As a small business owner, Ruth also spends her time overseeing two businesses: "Cookie's Cuisine Catered Dishes", her food catering company, and "Superhealthy NYC", an online-based Wellness beverage business, that provides its customers with all-natural fruit and vegetable juices.
Ruth is proud to be part of a mission-driven organization that prioritizes the well-being of the community and is excited to continue making a lasting impact for years to come.
